The most common types of Co-Branding in the Fashion Industry?
I have been asked the question “What do you think of the Co-branding in fashion Industry?”, and I think this is a great topic to talk about.
Co-branding in the fashion industry involves two different brands who work together to create a temporary collection, a so-called “capsule collection”. The final goal for any brands that have established a partnership together is to gain success, to reach a win-win situation. The potential benefits include but not limited to “increase revenue, attract new customers, boost brand awareness and to offer creative products for its current clients”.
For the smaller brand, working with a well-known brand can effectively increase its brand awareness, gain trust from its customers and can be considered a signal of the company strength. For the well-known brand, the main benefit is to generate profit at the economic level and increase brand exposure. For brands from different industries, cooperating can bring freshness to both brands and provide unique experience to their existing customers.
